TAV Metro Team 2nd Tryout
Thank you for your attendance this past Sunday. We are hoping to have some decisions made on teams following our second tryout.
What is the second tryout?
For 14's we are requesting that everyone that still wants to be considered from the 13th tryout also attends on the 20th. If you are unable to make it but still want to be considered, please email us to let us know. We have good notes from the 1st tryout but want to make a few more evaluations with the kids that will be making up the tryout.
12's, 13's, 15's, and 16's portion will only be for kids who missed Sunday. If you were here on the 13th you should not attend the Make up tryout.
Following this Sunday's tryout we will start to build rosters. If you made a team you will receive an email offer explaining how to proceed. I will send various updates as we begin to finalize rosters.
TAV METRO TEAM FREE TRYOUT #2 - No walk-ins
When: Sunday October 20th, 2024
Where: The MAC 200 Continental Drive, Lewisville, TX 75067
Time: 3:00-4:30 14’s (8th graders)

We are requesting that all kids that were here on 10/13 attend this second tryout. Due to the large number of athletes at the 1st tryout we want evaluate during this 2nd session with all athletes who missed on the 13th.
Time: 4:30-6:00
12's, 13's, 15’s, and 16’s (5th, 6th, 7th, 9th and 10th graders)
This session is only for athletes who missed the 10/13 tryout.

WHAT IS TAV METRO ?
Want to play Club Volleyball but can't commit to the full schedule of a travel team? This is an outstanding value for those who might not be ready to make the full time jump into club volleyball, but still want to train to improve their skills for school tryouts.
Involved in other outside activities? No problem, as this program is designed for ultimate flexibility! These athletes are involved with other activities and just can't commit to the time and price of a travel team. They will practice 1x a week at the MAC in Lewisville and only play local events within the DFW area. We have worked hard to limit the cost and scheduling to make this feasible.
Approximate Team Dues: $1500 (5 monthly payments of $300)
Team Dues include:
· Uniform Cost (2 jersey, 1 spandex, 1 practice shirt, 1 backpack)
· 1 practice/week beginning the week of January 3rd
tentative practice for 12’s-14’s is Friday evenings 5:30 – 7:30
tentative practice for 15’s and 16’s Thursday evenings time TBD
· 6 tournaments January – April (2 two-day events and 4 one-day events)
